Academic training:
Graduated in Medicine from the University of Girona (2012-2018), Dr. Marc Rustullet has complemented his training with a master’s degree in Clinical and Medical Professionalism from the University of Alcalá.
Professional experience:
Since 2019, he has worked as a resident physician in the Ophthalmology Department of the Hospital de l’Esperança (Parc de Salut Mar), where he specializes in the treatment and management of various ocular pathologies. In addition, he has worked in preventive medicine in the Prevén and Cualitis groups, and has previous experience in pharmacy.
Research and publications:
Dr. Rustullet is co-author of various research projects presented at prestigious national and international conferences, such as the Catalan and Spanish Ophthalmology Society. Among his most notable publications is his article in the Journal Français d’Ophtalmology on palinopsia secondary to brain metastases.
Continuing education:
Committed to constant updating in his field, he has completed specialized courses in retina and uveitis at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, as well as advanced training in retina surgery through the EASO Surgical Retina e-Module.
Presentations and communications:
Dr. Rustullet has made multiple presentations, including oral communications and posters at leading ophthalmological congresses, addressing everything from the conservative management of corneal foreign bodies to cases of choroidal metastasis.
