What is Plexr®?
The Plexr® is a plasma generator through a pseudo-sinusoidal signal that produces a small superficial burn performed with a fine pointer and always controlled by the physician.
How Plexr® works
The plasma generated by the Plexr® acts by sublimation, using the electromagnetic charge difference between the tip of the instrument and the patient’s skin. That is, as a result of the ionization of the atoms of the gas present in this space, a micro-plasma beam is produced. The tissue interaction, together with the impact on the tissue, induces a superficial removal of the corneocyte layer and a biostimulation of the skin to produce new collagen fibers.
The micro-plasma generated by Plexr® is preset in frequency and power by a series of parameters selected to create the partially ionized gas. The working frequency and voltage between the tip of the instrument and the patient’s body are used to generate an electric arc, which excites the atoms.
How long does it take to recover from a Plexr® session?
The small scabs that occur in the form of stitches after a Plexr® session usually fall off within a week to 10 days. During the first three days there is some swelling in the treated area. After treatment, the patient cannot be exposed to the sun for several months and must always use full sunscreen.
Depending on the objective to be achieved on the area to be treated, it is possible that several sessions are performed, spaced out over 30 days, until the optimal result is achieved.

Natural and permanent results
The Plexr® treatment alters the structure of the skin on which it acts, producing a direct retraction of the skin by the controlled burn in an instantaneous manner. Plexr® punctiform burns act similarly to a powerful CO2 laser but more conservatively. Recovery is three times faster than other treatments such as threads or fillers. These provoke the formation of support proteins, the result of which can be seen in a few months and in many patients no improvement can be seen. The results, natural and progressive (session by session) are permanent, associated with the usual skin aging after the passage of time.
